We have grouped a small set of 10 JLPT N5 Japanese kotoba that represent counting of objects
Note: You must know Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji to learn them.
This is a easy milestone to cross because you have to attach "tsu" to numbers producing the counting of that number. That is all. Looking at the Japanese writing you can easily understand the counting. However you will have to take care of the reading for Japanese words representing counting objects from ONE to NINE. They are different. Ten onwards there is no special representation for counting objects just the number will do
